Wilma Wanda Tucker, age 80

Mrs. Tucker passed away Friday afternoon at her Midlothian residence. She was born in Dallas to William Bedford and Ethleen (Morrow) Caruthers. Mrs. Tucker graduated from Duncanville High School in 1942 and married Randal P. Tucker June 15, 1947 in Duncanville. They moved to Midlothian in 1962. She worked as food service cashier for the Midlothian Independent School District for 23 years, retiring in December 2003. She was a member of the Midlothian Chapter of the Eastern Star and a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Tucker is survived by: sons, Randal Lynn Tucker and wife Kathy of Midlothian, Glynn Tucker and wife Connie of Dallas, Benson Tucker and wife Katherine of Clifton and Quynn Tucker of Meridian; daughter, Melanie Tucker Marrs of Waxahachie; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Randall P. Tucker in 1995.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Monday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Brother Keith Rice officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.
