Mrs. Oliver passed away Thursday evening at Baylor Medical Center in Grapevine. Mrs. Oliver was born in Plainview, Texas to William F. and Blanche (Crindle) Tipton. She graduated from Monterey High School of Lubbock in 1967 and attended Dallas Baptist University. Elaine married Dan E. Oliver June 17, 1967 in Lubbock. She was a preachers wife, member of the church quilting Guild, former member of the First Baptist Church of Red Oak and current member ot Northridge Baptist Church of Keller.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dan Oliver of Keller, 1 daughter Jennie Bell and her husband Jerry of Red Oak, 2 sons; Daniel T Oliver and his wife April of Arlington, Andrew N Oliver and his wife Paula of San Antonio, her parents Mr. and Mrs. William F. Tipton of Lubbock, 3 sisters; Diane Hensley and her husband Charlie of Highland, Patricia Jackson and her husband Steve of Midlothian, Marilyn Bramlet and her husband Arthur of Lubbock, and 1 brother Jimmy Tipton and his wife Anita of Lubbock. Also surviving are her 6 grandchildren.
Preceeding her in death were her grandparents and her sister Carol Tipton.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 3 to 5 PM Sunday evening at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 31, 2008 at the Red Oak First Baptist Church with Brother Rick Parker Officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery.
The family request that memorials be made to Northridge Baptist Church 11910 Old Denton Road Keller, TX 76248.
