Wilma Bailey

Wilma Lee Bailey, passed away Jan 23, 2016 in Midlothian, TX at the age of 80. She was surrounded by her children and granddaughter. Wilma was born to W. Lee Thomas and Shirley Birth Thomas in Edmond, Okla., Jan. 19, 1936. She lived most of her life in OKC where she worked 30 years for Darr Equipment , and in 2000 she was added to the Presidents Council on Excellence for her commitment and high standards of customer service. Throughout her career she never missed an unscheduled day of work.
Wilma was known for her fabulous sense of humor, and was always the life of the party. She enjoyed being surrounded by loyal friends and loved family members and would spend hours playing cards or Yahtzee.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law Rhonda Ron Norman, her son and daughter in law, Martin Valerie Hubbartt, sister brother in law Sue Frank Konrad, step-sister Karen White, 5 grandchildren, Michelle Heiliger, James Caldwell, Jennifer Kagemann, Rob Hubbartt RJ Norman. 11 Great Grandchildren, 4 Nephews and 1 Niece. She is also survived by lifelong friends, Ida Sue Kidd, Francie Smothers, Terry Cagle. She was preceded in death by her husband- William Bill Bailey, father- William Lee Thomas, mother- Shirley Thomas Sanders, brother-Ralph Thomas, grandson -Tyler Heiliger.
Services will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, TX. on January 29th at 2:00 PM with visitation with the family will be Thursday evening Jan. 28th from 6-8 PM.
