Willie Eva West, 93 of Midlothian passed away Saturday at Renfro Healthcare Center in Waxahachie. She was born in Waxahachie to James Andrew and Maude Myrtle (Byrum) Gray. Mrs. West was a seamstress for a clothing manufacturer. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ovilla.
Mrs. West is survived by: one son, Bobby Gray West, SR. of Midlothian; grandsons, John Michael West and his wife Jennifer of Plano and Gregory Scot West of DeSoto; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; four nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Erbert West and a grandson, Bobby Gray West, JR.
The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 pM, Wednesday, January 28, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Carl Freeto officiating. Interment will follow at the Ovilla Cemetery, Ovilla, Texas.
