Willie Ersell McCulloch, age 84
March 10, 1918
March 9, 2003

Mr. McCulloch passed away late Sunday night. He was born in Milford, TX. to George Eugene and L. E. (O'Leary) McCulloch. He graduated from Maypearl High School in 1936; served in the US Army during WWII and fought in "The Battle of the Bulge" and other European campaigns. Mr. McCulloch was a lifelong resident of Ellis County where he was a farmer and rancher. He also worked for LTV and retired from Ford Motor Company in 1970. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends while farming and working with them. He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by: two sons, David and wife Vicki of Arlington and Willie, Jr. and wife Mary of Austin; five grandsons, Kevin and wife Sheri, Trey and wife Jeannie, Scott, Tim and Brad; four great grandchildren, Blake, Katelynne, Brock and Trevor; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, his parents and sister, Margaret Farrell.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-9 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2003 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Grady Cashion officiating. Interment will follow in Forreston Cemetery.
