William "Bill" Marshall Maveety, 63, passed away on Thursday, January 4th, 2018, peacefully at his home in Waxahachie, Texas.
Bill was born October 13, 1954, in Grantville, GA. His family moved to Texas in the 1980s. In 1973, he graduated at Lancaster High School, Lancaster, TX. He held various occupations such as a machinist, pharmacy tech, truck driver, water meter contractor at Rockett, and various other jobs.
His passions included his family, cats (All cats), saxophone, motorcycle, disc frisbee, fishing, and love of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. He served in the Air Force for 4 years. Bill and Debbie were married for 30 years. He was so loved by many for his sense of humor and storytelling.
He is survived by his Son and daughter-in-law, Shannon Michael and Tuyen Rindahl; Grandchildren, Hailey Rindahl, Kaylyn Dick, Bao Luu, Nicole Luu, Andrew Luu; Brother and wife Bobby "Bo" and Cheryl Maveety; Nephew and Niece, Bobby Maveety II and Carol Anne Maveety; Cousin, Phil Whitley; Mother-in-law, Katherine Rindahl; Brother-in-law Richard Rindahl and wife Nancy Corkery; Mother of Hailey Rindahl, Holly Thorman; Sister-in-law Beth Tyler Rindahl, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. His much-loved cats- PC, MC, Gracie, Tiger and many others.
He is preceded in death by Grandparents, Lawrence and Willie Mae Teague and Lawrence Teague; Parents, Bobbie Joe and Mary Anne Barnes Maveety; Wife, Debbie Maveety; Son, William "BJ" Marshall Jr.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday Jan. 13, 2018, at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Cremation Burial will be at the City of Waxahachie Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his wife, son, and family.
