William Warren Kennedy November 28, 1930 December 16, 2010 William Warren Kennedy, 80 of Lancaster, Texas passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 in DeSoto, Texas. He was born November 28, 1930 in Wills Point, Texas to Allison Wesley and Elinor Foster Kennedy . He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and worked for many years for Hormel, he loved fishing, hunting and working in his yard and garden. He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone who knew him and loved him. He is survived by 3 Sons: Marshall L. Kennedy of Waxahachie, Tx., Terry W. and wife Catherine Kennedy of Glenn Heights, Tx. and Timothy W. and Amy Kennedy of Waxahachie, Tx., 2 Daughters: Elita F. & husband Calvin Woodall of Red Oak, Tx., and Sonya Z. husband LaRue "Bud" Martz of Cumming, Georgia; 1 Brother: Jerrald W. Kennedy of Wills Point, Tx., 7 Grandchildren: Christle, Tiffany, Kaili, Dana, Cassidy, Katelyn and Allyson. He was preceded in death by his wife Ophelia F. Kennedy and his parents. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, December 20, 2010 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Zimmerman officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
