William Howard

William Paul Howard, 80, passed away on October 19, 2017 in Temple, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11 AM at the Milford Cemetery located in Milford.

Paul was born on September 26, 1937 to Robert and Bessie Howard. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing his guitar every chance he could. He was a United States Navy veteran, he will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ted Petty; and siblings, Derwood Howard, Marion Howard and Berta Livingood.

Paul is survived by his wife, Stella Howard; son, Jay Petty and his wife, Pam; grandchildren, Shane Petty and his wife, Jaycee, Sheldon Petty and his wife, Lauren, and Clayton Petty; nephew, Robin Howard and his wife, Deborah; niece, Paula Challe and her husband, Earl; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie is in charge of the arrangements.
