William Holden, age 88 of Waxahachie passed away Sunday, December 25, 2005 at his Waxahachie residence. He was born in Sardis, TX. to Ace and Etta (Dempsey) Holden. He served in the US Air Force and was the operator of a service station. Mr. Holden was a member of the Farley Street Baptist Church of Waxahachie.

His survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Maxine and Calvin Robinson of Everman, TX.; grandchildren, Bodie Robinson of Waxahachie, Cindy Spencer of Everman, Russell Robinson, also of Everman and Rebecca Hines of Glen Rose; thirteen great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lorene, in 2000.

The family will receive friends and relatives 11 AM- 1 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home followed with a 2 PM graveside service and interment at the Waxahachie City Cemetery with Reverend Ted Brown officiating.
