William Files

William Ronald Files "Ronnie", 74, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017 in Lancaster. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 2 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie.

Ronnie was born on December 2, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Jess and Inez Files. He married the love of his life, Cathy, on April 17, 1968 in Durant, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Peggy Easter; father and mother in-law, V.E. and June Hill; brother in-law, James Hill; and 2 grandsons, Aaron "AJ" Jones and Jakob Rogers.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Cathy Files; children, Dana Files and Jeffery Files and his wife, Trish; brother, Jessie Files; grandchildren, Courtney Files, Josh Rogers and Brandon Phipps; great grandchildren, Colton Files and Catherine Alexander; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne Boze Funeral Home is charge of the arrangements.
