Wayne Horace Tidwell March 07, 1918 June 02, 2010 Wayne Horace Tidwell, 92, of Waxahachie passed away Wednesday, June 02, 2010 in Waxahachie. He was born to the late John F. & Willie Virginia Deaver Tidwell on March 07, 1918 in Waxahachie, Texas. Wayne was a longtime member of the Central Presbyterian Church where he served as Sexton from 1962 to 1999 and was a member of the Central Men's Bible Class. Wayne was an Assembly Foreman at Tyler Refrigeration for many years and retired from there after 30 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He is survived by his Son & Daughter in Law: Michael & JoElla Tidwell of Waxhachie, Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews , great neice & nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Nell M . Tidwell . Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, June 06, 2010 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday June 07, 2010 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Polly Williams officating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie CIty Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jerry Bell, Forrest Dugger, Joe Rizzo, Jerry Bell Jr., Justin Stohner and Ken Stohner. The family request memorial to be made to the Central Presbyterian Church or the Presbyterian Children's Home in Wayne's name.
