Waymon Bishop

Waymon Ray Bishop, 52 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Waxahachie. He was born June 24, 1961 in Ft. Worth. Waymon's passion was Harley Davidson motorcycles. He loved riding and working on bikes. He was an avid supporter of the Komen Dallas County Foundation, working hard with Brenda to raise awareness and gathering donations for the foundation each year. Waymon loved spending time with Brenda and all of his family. He will be missed by so many who loved him and knew him including his 3 beloved Chi Wawa dogs, Sara, Lucy and Dandy. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Sutherlin Bishop of Waxahachie; his mother, Wanda Jones Bishop of Whitney; his step son, Keith Vaughn and his wife, Shana of Waxahachie; his step grandchildren, Ashley and Cody Vaughn of Waxahachie; his mother in law, Bobbie Hill of Waxahachie; his brother, Roy Allen Bishop of Houston; his sisters, Wanda Bishop Beech of North Richland Hills and Wendy Bishop Edwards of Waxahachie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Waymon Bishop and also by his step father, Arvin Lawson. A memorial service to celebrate Waymon's life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin Lipsey officiating.
