Waylon Mack Spradling
Waylon Mack Spradling, beloved son of Tristen and Payton Spradling and adored baby brother of Blayke-Lee, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 31, 2022.
Waylon was born December 8, 2021, in Waxahachie, Texas. Although he was born with health complications, he was extremely strong and resilient. God performed many miracles for Waylon's body throughout his life that defied reasonable medical understanding. His life's story renewed the faith in Jesus Christ's healing power for many people that struggled to comprehend it. Waylon was only with us for a year, but this little warrior left behind a legacy and taught us many life lessons in faith, perseverance, and determination.
Waylon loved being held in his mommy’s arms and the sound of her voice was an instant comfort. His happy place was also outside in the sunshine. Daddy’s chest and his pacifier provided an instant calming duo when Waylon needed comforting. Along with his love for being held close, Waylon also loved bright lights. On New Year’s Eve fireworks were flying through the night sky when Blayke-Lee said, “Look at all the lights for my baby brother!”
Waylon is survived by his parents, Tristen and Payton Fletcher Spradling; big sister Blayke-Lee; maternal grandparents, Jody Mack and Lesli Fletcher and Rodney and Christine Lowe Green; paternal grandparents, Stephen and Lauri Spradling; maternal great-grandparents: Howard and Nicki Fletcher O’Daniel; Jerry and Brenda Fletcher; and Cathy Lowe; paternal great-grandparents: Laura Cox; Steve and Ina Spradling; David and Norma Todd; Bobbye and John Moreno; and Janet and Randy Featherston; aunts and uncles: Aaron and Carli Fletcher Middleton, Hannah Fletcher, Lucas Fletcher, Ryan and Kelsey Green, Reese Green, Clayton Spradling, Marco Mathews, Lizee Emerton, Jaxson Emerton, and Bryce Todd; cousins, Kash Middleton and Kenley Green; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
Waylon was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Sterling Lowe, Nick and Modelle Petty; Frank Mack and Beatrice Fletcher; and great-aunt, Tonya Fletcher Spears.
