Wanda Gail Wilsford passed away at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, Waco, Saturday.
She was born in Hillsboro to Frank S. and Wanda Jean (Davidson) Wilsford. She attended schools in Hillsboro and nursing classes receiving certification in Johnson County and received her Degree from Navarro Junior College in Corsicana. She had been employed with Trinity Mission in Italy and currently with Texas Home Health Care.
Ms. Wilsford lived joyfully even through the last eight months that she battled cancer. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Ms. Wilsford is survived by: son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Robin Wafer of Italy;
brothers, Rex Wilsford and wife Sharon of Hillsboro, Roger Wilsford and wife Kim of Newton, NC; sisters, Gloria Little and husband Jerry of Walnut Springs, TX., Janice Wilsford and husband Fred of Whitney; grandchildren, Carlee and Gage; loving cousin Martha Cook; nieces Natalie Jean Little and Mandee Michelle Davis; and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents and niece Traci Pharris.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday in the Italy Chapel. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Wednesday, November 10, 2004 in the Italy Chapel, 161 W. Main St., Italy, TX. with Reverend Richard Dool and Reverend Barry Morris officiating. Pallbearers will be Roy Hedgepeth, Larry Wafer, Kelly Wilsford, Douglas Davidson, Darrell Fisher and Jeff Hyles. Honorary pallbearers will be Debbie Knott, Alithea Brown, Carolyn Powell, Roberta Williams, Vicki Johnston, Marilyn Ward, Niki Pate, Donna Garner, Royce Vaughan and Mike Thompson. Interment will follow in Forreston Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
