Wanda Gene Hollabaugh, age 68

Mrs. Hollabaugh, lifetime Waxahachie resident, passed away Thursday morning at Pleasant Manor Health and Rehab. She was born in Waxahachie to J. Henry and Gene (Beaty) Miller. She graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1955 and married Tommy Hollabaugh August 2, 1957 in Waxahachie. She was employed with Rio Grande Insurance of Dallas, Naughton Farms, Larkin Manufacturing, and worked in the temporary personnell department at Owens Corning, retiring in the early 1990's. Mrs. Hollabaugh was a member of the Ferris Heights United Methodist Church, served as President of the United Methodist Women, Searchers Sunday School Class, Assistant Den Mother, served on several Lord's Acre Committees, and was the Financial Assistant
for Ferris Heights United Methodist Church.

She is survived by: her husband, Tommy Hollabaugh; son, Keith Hollabaugh, both of Waxahachie; sisters, Marva Reed and husband Gerald of Waxahachie, Anne Burgess and husband Frank of Tyler; sister-in-law, Shirley Terry of Red Oak; grandchildren, Jamie and Brandon Hollabaugh of Waxahachie; great grandson, Hunter Hollabaugh of Hartselle, AL.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Sunday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Monday, May 9, 2005 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with John Shipman officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeff Reed, Greg Reed, Pat Lambright, Mike Terry, Glenn Terry, Gary Beaty, Bill Beaty and Bud Garouttee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Brabham, Kevin Helms, Buddy Griffin and Craig Griffin. Interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
