Wanda Jo Hazard, 84, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 in Red Oak. She was born on March 11, 1930 to R.P. and Gladys Trees. Wanda worked for Red Oak School District for 20 years and enjoyed cooking, sewing, gospel music, and being with her family. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Red Oak. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hazard; 4 sisters; and 1 brother. She is survived by her children, Tony Hazard and his wife, Phyllis, and Teri Browning and her husband, Jerry; brothers, Von Trees and wife, Kimberly, Jimmy Trees, and Phillip Trees; grandchildren, Chris Browning and Melissa Browning; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. HWY 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX 75165. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
