Mrs. Elmore passed away Tuesday evening at her residence in Waxahachie. Mrs. Elmore was born one of seven children to Christopher C and Elizabeth L (Vaughan) Chandler in Cleburne, Texas. She was raised in Cleburne and attended Cleburne Schools. Wanda married Jack J Elmore January 18, 1947 in Cleburne. She was a homemaker, past member of the Waxahachie Chapter of the Eastern Star and a long time member of the First Baptist Church. She loved to Volunteer at the local schools, her church, Baylor hospital and anywhere she was needed. She loved her family and friends and was loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by; one son Gary D Elmore and his wife Genny of Dallas, two daughters; Carolyn E Pierce and her husband Edward of Plano, Janet S O'Neil and her partner Lee, one sister Mary Jo Smith and her husband Sam of Homer, Louisiana, one Brother Bobby C Chandler and his wife Joan of Springhill, Louisiana. Also surviving are 6 grand children; Christopher W Bearden and his wife Bonnie, Jason D Elmore and his wife Leslie, Jessica D Smith and her husband Trey, Katherine V Elmore,Jacque M O'Neil, Marc J Elmore and eight great grand children. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Jack in 1996, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Friday in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Dr. Shane Kinnison officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery at Ovilla.
Pallbearers will be: Christopher Bearden, Jason Elmore, Trey Smith, Marc Elmore, Tate Collier, and Clyde Melick. Honorary Pallbearer will be Cole Elmore.

Memorials may be made to the Children's Medical Center in Dallas.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
