Virginia Woolls

September 1, 1920 — July 2, 2015

Virginia Daniel Woolls, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 2, 2015, at her home in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born on September 1, 1920 in Cotulla, Texas to Ora and Price Daniel. After obtaining her college degree, she married Bart Woolls and became a military wife. They lived all over the United States and in Germany, Japan and Okinawa. Virginia taught school for 32 years and was loved by her students as she loved them first. She is a life-long member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Virginia and her husband Bart served the Lord wherever they went and remained faithful unto death. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Sabinal, Texas, where she has worshiped for 36 years. Virginia's beloved husband, Bart Woolls, preceded her in death as well as her son, Sanders Woolls. She had one sister, Dorris Daniel Keath, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Walker of Macon, Georgia and Sharron Parks and son-in-law, Larry Parks of Waxahachie, Texas; three grandsons, Nathanial Woolls, Eli Woolls and Joshua Parks; three granddaughters, Stacie Hubbard and Husband Maj, Chad Hubbard, Jill Walker and Madison Woolls Taylor; she also has six great grandchildren, Caleb, Noah, Cody and Madison Hubbard, Abigail and Price Woolls. Virginia is also survived by her nephew, Dan Keath and wife Madis; her niece, Jane Witcher and husband Seth Witcher; and her niece, Ann Keath. She is survived by many great and great great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one special cousin, Claude Rock, Jr. of Abilene Texas. Virginia lived a long full life, a Blessed life, surrounded by a great family and many special friends. We miss her but it is good to know where she is and that we will meet again. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas with Pastor Monty Benson officiating. Those serving as honorary pallbearers include, Dan Keath, Seth Witcher, Joshua Parks, Nathanial Woolls, Eli Woolls and Chad Hubbard. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
