Virginia Chenault

Virginia Chenault, age 90, passed away on October 2, 2018 at her home in Forreston, Texas. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located in Waxahachie. Interment will follow services in the Forreston Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be observed on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Virginia was born on August 11, 1928 in Rockett, Texas to Jesse and Gertrude Murdock. She was a member of the Forreston Baptist Church and also a member of the Forreston Friendship Club. Virginia enjoyed sewing, cooking, and taking trips with her family to Red River, New Mexico. Virginia will be loved forever and missed dearly by family and friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Gertrude Murdock; her husband, James Douglas Chenault; son, Larry Chenault; sister, Naomi Ince; and brother, J.L. Murdock.

She is survived by her children, John Chenault and Judy Lonon and her husband, Buddy; grandchildren, Jamie Jenkins and husband, Scotty, Stephen Chenault, Bryant Chenault, Sara Gagui and husband, Joel, Adam Chenault and Shelia, Carrie Borchardt and husband, Wes, Neil Lonon and wife, Natalie, and Lindsey Woodall and Shane; great grandchildren, Jordan and Tyler Chenault, Stella Gagui, Callie Borchardt, and Karsyn and Levi Woodall; and sisters, Betty Turnbow and Peggy Cavazos and husband, Larry.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Forreston Baptist Church, 406 Pecan Street, Forreston, Texas 76041.

Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie is in charge of the arrangements.
