Virgie Schwartz

Virgel "Virgie" Mae Schwartz, 84 of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 in DeSoto. She was born to the late Joseph and Katie Wilkie Autrey on April 1, 1927 in Kerens, Texas. Virgie married the love of her life, Lyndall B. Schwartz on June 3, 1946 and they enjoyed 65 loving years together. She enjoyed selling things on the flea market and sewing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of them. She is survived by her loving husband, Lyndall B. Schwartz of Waxahachie; her children, Joe Schwartz and his wife, Ann of Dripping Springs, Jerry Schwartz and his wife, Laura of Rockett, Darene Walker and her husband, Billy of Waxahachie, and Darlene Skoda and her husband, Steve of Waxahachie; her grandchildren, Jorey Berry, Logan Schwartz, David Schwartz, Misty Kelton, Chaz Skoda, Cody Skoda, Jeremy Walker, Jessica Walker; her great grandchildren, Aiden Berry, Peyton Schwartz, Tyson Schwartz, Haylee Schwartz, Hillary Schwartz, Scottie Kelton, Jordan Kelton; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Fundamental Baptist Church, Palmer, with Bro. Gary Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
