Mrs. Hoggatt passed away on Friday, September 16, 2005 at Pleasant Manor Living Center in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born January 23, 1919 in Orange, Texas to Johnny A. Rhodes and Keteth Mangum Rhodes. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Whitney, Texas and was a member of the Eastern Star for 60 years.


She is survived by two sons, Dale Hoggatt and wife Ginger, and Ronnie Hoggatt and wife Linda, both of Red Oak ; three daughters, Wanda Ivy of Corpus Christi, Tx., Keteth Cornelius and husband Ken of Amarillo, Texas and Ada Martin and husband Mike of Ingleside, Fla. Seventeen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Lee Hoggatt.

Family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM, Sunday, September 18th at Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be at 10AM, Monday, September 19th, in the Red Oak Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Osborne officiating. Pallbearers will be Al Hoggatt, Jake Hoggatt, Justin Hoggatt, Kase Hoggatt, Lee Wayne Weldon and Frankie Weldon. Interment will follow in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
