Viola Fuller

Viola Aday Fuller, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 with her family at her side. She was 86 years old.

Viola was born on April 2, 1930 in Waxahachie to Richard and Mattie Aday. She was a life long resident of Waxahachie. She was a member of American Business Women's Association and a member of Farley Street Baptist Church.

Viola worked for J.C. Pennys for ten years. She then went to work for the City of Waxahachie and retired in 1989.

Viola was affectionately known as "Nanny" to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great grandchild. She will be lovingly remembered by all those, who knew and loved her. Viola loved her family, family gatherings, flower gardening, watching golf on TV, and cheering for the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys.

Viola was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, of 19 years, Ira Lee Fuller (the love of her life); one brother, James Aday; two sisters, Adeline San Miguel and JoAnn Collier Roberts; and one grandson, Jeffrey Redmon.

Viola is survived by her sister, Mildred Sneed of Waxahachie; seven children, Robert Brady (Lisa) of Dripping Springs, Jackie Griffin (John), Mark Brady (Peggy), Vicki Brady, Linda Gorman, Ricky Brady (Becky) and Lance Brady, all of Waxahachie; She also leaves step-children, Kyle Fuller (Lorraine) of Arlington, and Holly Fuller of Richardson; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Brent Kitchens, Jason Griffin, Brent Howell, Phil Brady, Tyler Brady, Tanner Brady, great grandson Robert Nava, Jr. and step-son Kyle Fuller.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will directly follow funeral services at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home, prior to funeral services.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
