Vera Etta Bryson Springer, age 90

Vera Springer passed away on Saturday evening May 17 at Charleton Methodist Hospital in Dallas. She was born to William E. and Cora Etta (Lay) Bryson, having lived in this area her entire life.

Vera faithfully served as a member of the Shiloh congregation for over seventy six years and has led her positive Christian example serving as an Elder in the session, Choir, CPW, Sunday School, congregation and community.

She never wavered in her loyalty or dedication to the Shiloh congregation nor to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.

Vera Springer is survived by: a daughter, Nancy Sunderman of Cedar Hill, TX.; a son, Kenneth Springer of Ft. Worth, TX.; two granddaughters, Sharon Fontenot and husband Robbie of Grand Prairie, TX., and Melissa Adamson and husband Lewis of Midlothian, TX.; four great grandchildren, Jennifer and Eric Adamson, and Paul and Matthew Fontenot and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul and son-in-law, Bob Sunderman and four brothers, Wilburn, Buck, Truman and Davis Bryson.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Duane Doughtery and Reverend James Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
