Vanda Kay Cumbie Jacinto 07-02-1946 12-28-2011 Vanda Kay Cumbie Jacinto, 65 of Italy , Texas passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in Fort Hood , Texas . She was born July 02, 1946 to the late Edgar & Jeana Stogner Cumbie in Athens , Texas . Vanda was a 1964 graduate of Athens High School and attended Henderson County Junior College and was a member of the Cardette Drill Team. She married Pablo Jacinto on December 04, 1964. Vanda was a longtime member of the Central Baptist Church in Italy , Texas where she was a member of the Choir, she taught Mission Friends and was a GA'S leader at the church. Vanda watched children in her home for many years and was a Leader in the Brownie Scouts and completed a Girl Scout Program. Vanda was a member of the Italy Cemetery Board and worked with local elections in Italy for many years and was Vice President of NARFE. She is survived by her husband Pablo Jacinto of Italy , Texas ; 1 Son: Jeffrey Paul Jacinto and wife Misty of Comanche, Texas ; Daughter Beatrice Kay & her husband SFC Farrin W. Kerr of Copperas Cove, Texas. Brother Ronald Earl Cumbie & wife Margie of Chattanooga, Tennessee; 1 Sister: Terry York of Athens , Texas ; Grandchildren: Brandon Jacinto, Payton Williams, Cutter Jacinto, Emma and Avery Kerr. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2011 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Gray officiating. Interment is scheduled for 2:15 PM Wednesday, January 04, 2011 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery . Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, January 02, 2011 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the George E.
