Troy Grier

Troy William Grier, 77 of Red Oak, Texas passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 in Mansfield . He was born to the late Eugine & Irene Ramsey Grier in Palmer, Texas on December 02, 1934. Troy retired from the U.S. Post Office after 34 years of service. He loved feeding and watching birds and was a member of The Avenue Church in Waxahachie. He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone who knew and loved him. Troy is survived by his wife Dorothy Grier of Red Oak, Texas; 3 Sons: Michael Grier of Clifton, Texas; Glen & Karen Grier of Red Oak, Texas; Charles and Missy Grier of Aquilla, Texas; 3 Step Children: David Burrow of Red Oak, Texas; Barbara and Brian Hatfield of Hurst, Texas and Carol & Russell Bolin of Red Oak, Texas; 1 Brother: Harry and Patsy Grier of Maypearl, Texas; Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parent and 2 brothers: Howard and Darwin Grier. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 01, 2012 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Rev. David Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery . Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
