Tressa Lynn Batchelor passed away at her Irving residence Sunday evening, after a good brave fight with cancer. She was born in Dallas to Norman W. and Doris (Gressett) Pryor, Sr. She graduated from Irving High School, where she was a member of the ROTC. Tressa married Jerry Lynn Batchelor on August 5, 1995 in Irving. She was employed with Service Electronics as a parts handler. Mrs. Batchelor was a good mother, grandmother, loving wife and friend who always had a winning smile and attitude. She was a member of the Jesus Name House of Prayer in Cockerel Hill.

Her survivors include: husband, Jerry Lynn Batchelor of Irving; daughter, Cindy Nave of Clearwater, KS.; brothers, Norman Pryor, Jr. of Dallas, Steve Pryor Sr. and Jackie of Red Oak; sisters, Clauda Miller and Bryce of Glenn Heights, Becky Hanson and Robbie of Red Oak; grandchildren, Jasmine, Skyla, Adam and Aiden. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Robert and Max Pryor.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 9 AM Thursday, July 20, 2006 also at the Red Oak Funeral Home with Z.D. Cooper, Jr. and Marqueax Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Batchelor's nephews.
