Tommy Lee Parish, 72, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away on March 19, 2022.
Tommy was born on May 4th, 1950, to Joy and Betty Parish in Corsicana, Texas and later moved to Wilmer-Hutchins and later graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins in 1968 where he lettered in all sports. Tommy was Baptized and saved at North Side Baptist Church in Wilmer. After high school, Tommy went onto work at Sears for a short time, followed by Coca-Cola where he became a District Manager and later retired. Tommy went onto work at the Dallas Morning News until 2000. In 2000, Tommy and his dad, Joy Parish, opened Parish Pawn and Music store.
Tommy was married to Patty, his high school sweetheart, right after high school and later divorced. Much later, Tommy married Judy Davis and divorced later. Tommy has no children but does have a stepson, Ryan Davis.
For fun, Tommy enjoyed playing golf and traveled many miles to play on different golf greens. Tommy also enjoyed occasionally visiting the casinos in Oklahoma. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Tommy was predeceased by his mother, Betty Jean Stroud. Tommy is survived by his father, Joy Parish; Stepmother, Caroline Parish; sisters: Dana Parish, Ann Marie Cruz, Bonnie Marie Smith, Paula Benedick; Nieces: Fawn (Martwick) Trotter, Snowy Martwick, Seth Cruz, and several cousins.
