Tommie Eugene Martin was born May 19, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois
to Jesse & Eloise Jeanette Martin. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri.
He joined the Army and was stationed In Honolulu, Hawaii and then
served and completed his duty of service in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He then moved to Oklahoma where he spent most of his life.
He worked for Ace Typewriter company in Sapulpa. He eventually
moved to Denver Colorado to be with his Mom and family. He completed
his journey in Waxahachie Texas. He was full of life. He loved his children,
his family, music, money, cars, and fixing things. He was a jack of all trades.
He was very intelligent, artistic and creative. He loved music and loved
to dance. Throughout his journey he had many children whom he loved
dearly.
He was married to Rita with whom he had two children Theresa
and Tommie Jr. He then shared a special love with Kellynn with whom he
had five children Shantelle, Latonya, Frederick, Matthew and Pierre.
He also had a daughter Sonya Moore of Kansas City, Missouri.
The last of his children are Sabrina, Samantha, Isaiah, Christian, Grace
and Jeremiah of Denver Colorado.
He loved chicken express, sprite, ice cream, golden Oreos and twinkies.
He will always be remembered for his contagious smile, his infectious
laugh and extremely big heart. He enjoyed life and often spent time with
family. He never met a stranger. God decided that his purpose on earth
had been fulfilled.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Albert Leon Samuels,
brother Butch, grandmother Cora, sister Debra, niece Brandy,
son Frederick and mother Eloise. He will be missed. He leaves to cherish
his memory his children Theresa, Tommie Jr., Sonya, Shantelle, Latonya,
Matthew, Pierre, Sabrina, Samantha, Isaiah, Christian, Grace, and Jeremiah.
His Grandchildren Terrelle, Shandala, Tyriest, Bronshay, Jordyn, Analys,
Theo Jr, Timothy, Areana, and Elliana. His great grandchildren Jordyn,
Ocean, and River. His sisters Katherine, Pammie, and Rachel.
His uncle Albert Leon Samuels Jr. a host of cousins, nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
