Tillman M. Hollingsworth, age 73

Mr. Hollingsworth passed away Thursday morning at his Waxahachie residence. He was born in Brownsboro, TX. to Levi and Marion Edith (Lacy) Hollingsworth. Mr. Hollingsworth was raised and educated in Henderson and was employed for twenty six years with the City of Dallas Water and Utilities Department as supervisor. He had lived in Ellis County since 1975, moving from Dallas. His hobbies were old car and old tractors.

His survivors include: his wife, Frances M. (LaBarbera) Hollingsworth; sons, Tillman M. Hollingsworth, Jr. and wife Teresa, and Mike Hollingsworth, all of Waxahachie; daughter, Mary Edith Hollingsworth of Orlando, FL.; brothers, Elton Hollingsworth of Mesquite and Hank Hollingsworth and wife Nancy of Brownsville, TX.; grandchildren, Micaela, Cecelie, Daniel, and John Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Saturday, January 7, 2006 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Chaplain Dan Rogers III and Pastor Frank Escamilla officiating. Pallbearers will be V. J. Lowery, Charles Truelove, Raul Arredondo, Jon Murray,Jon Michael Murray and Floyd Walker. Interment will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Mabank.

Memorials may be made to First Family Hospice, Ennis, TX.
