Thomas Freddie Francis Franklin, age 93
November 2, 1911
November 14, 2004

Mr. Franklin passed away Sunday at Baylor Medical Center Waxahachie. He was born in Big Spring, TX. to James Monroe Lydia A. (Meek) Franklin. He was a farmer most of his life and worked for General Mills for many years. Mr. Franklin attended Calvary Baptist Church in Ennis.

He is survived by: his wife, Lela Franklin of Ennis; sons, Thomas Franklin and his wife Annette of Ennis, Charles Franklin and his wife Jeanette of Palmer, Danny Franklin and his wife Rosie of Ennis; daughters, Mary Adair and her husband Dale of Tyler; Shirley Adair and her husband Dickie, Rosa Vyers and her husband Scotty, Annie Tennery and her husband Jimmy, all of Ennis and Deborah Henson and her husband James of Longview; twenty three grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of his Life will be 2 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Larry B. Poarch and Reverend Jimmy Tennery, JR. officiating. Pallbearers will be Dale Stanley Adair, Kenneth Adair, Nathan Vyers, Jody Tennery, Robert Franklin and Matthew Franklin. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren. Interment will be in the Palmer Cemetery.
