Thomas “Tommy” Burton Aday, Jr. 74 of Red Oak, Texas passed away on February 6, 2024 with his family by his side.
Tommy was born October 30, 1949 in Waxahachie, Texas to Thomas Burton Aday, Sr. & Frances Kathrine (Ingram) Aday. Tommy graduated from Waxahachie Highschool in 1968. He was then drafted into the United States Army serving two years as a private first class corporal stationed in Budingen, Germany. Tommy returned to Texas earning an associates degree in business from Navarro Junior College and began his career in the oil industry immediately. He was employed with Halliburton Oil for thirty seven years before retiring.
Tommy met Estella (Stella) Wells in 1993, and they were married in 2002. They enjoyed their cabin in Cripple Creek, Colorado. You could find them always spending time with their family and friends, or traveling various tourist spots in the U.S. In his earlier days Tommy enjoyed deer hunting with his friends and sons. His special friend was his faithful dog "Rambo".
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents Burton & Frances Aday. He is survived by his wife and best friend Stella Aday of twenty two years. Sons, Jeff Aday, Robert Wells, David Wells, and daughter Jasmine Wallace. Daughter n laws Alaina Aday, LaJonhna Wells, and son n law Marty Wallace. Tommy is also survived by his grandchildren who he dearly loved and adored, Farryn Aday, Adalynn Aday, Preston Wells, Connor Wells, Olivia Wallace, JD Wallace, Mia Wallace, Cameron Wells, Marty Clayton.
