Terry Naylor

Terry Marshall Naylor, 70, passed away on November 7, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie.

Terry was born on March 14, 1947 to W.M. "Bill" and Pat (Adams) Naylor in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1965 where he was a member of the Waxahachie High School Band and also played in the band called the High-Lifes. He went on to the University of Massachusetts and received his Bachelor's degree in 1973 and his Master's degree in Education in 1975. Terry was an avid lover of music, reading, hunting and fishing. He also participated many years in the Waxajam fundraiser. He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, W.M. "Bill" Naylor.

Terry is survived by his mother, Pat Naylor; children, Gary Brown and his wife, Lacy, Killian Philipson and her husband, Brad, and Foster Naylor; grandchildren, Easton Brown, Kaityn Brown and Morgan Brown; sisters, Paulette Rook and her husband, Steve, and Kathy Johnston and her husband, Bobby; and the mother of his children, Trish Naylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Salvation Army or the Waxahachie C.A.R.E. Services.
