Terry Horner

July 10, 1943 — April 15, 2011

Terry Don Horner of Waxahachie passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 after a lengthy illness. He was born July 10, 1943 in Durant, Oklahoma to the late Flois and Geneva Horner. Terry and his parents moved to Duncanville, Texas when he was six years old. He attended Duncanville schools where he met Ginny Jackson, the love of his life. Terry and Ginny married on December 22, 1962. He and Ginny had two sons, Judd and Jody; his daughters-in-law, Catherine and Jennifer; and three grandchildren, Caleb, Morgan and Caitlin. Terry joined the United States Army on July 12, 1960. He served at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma and in Germany. He was honorably discharged on June 30, 1966 with the rank of specialist Fourth Class. He was a Journeyman Machinist of the highest order. Above all, Terry loved his family and was a baptized child of Christ. Services and military honors will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
