Terry Lee Gregory, age 60

Terry Lee Gregory lost his battle with cancer and passed peacefully at his home in Waxahachie Saturday morning. Terry was born in Dallas, Texas to Hollis Lee and Claudine (Williford) Gregory. He graduated from Waxahachie High School Class of 1965, where he was a standout athlete. Terry was the winner of the first ever Bobby Howard award for most outstanding back on the football team. He received his Bachelors Degree from North Texas University where he was a member of Theta Chi. Terry married Patricia Ann Adkins January 24, 1969 In Waxahachie. Terry owned and operated Terry Gregory Ford/Mercury of Ennis for over 20 years. He was past president of the Kiwanis Club of Ennis and a lifetime member of the College Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by: his wife of 39 years, his children; Michael Casey and his wife Kim and their children Ethan and Tyler of Dallas, Patrick Dean, of Dallas, and Laura Leeanne Kepley and her husband David Chicago, Illinois, his Parents Hollis Lee and Claudine Gregory, of Waxahachie and one sister Maylean Peters and her husband Steven, of Red Oak, and numerous nieces, nephews, many, many loving friends and extended family.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 7 to 9 PM Monday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the College Street Church of Christ with Walter Buchanan and Dean Kilmer officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be; Dale Fincher, Larry Brown, Glenn Perryman, Rick Pettis,
Gary Friday,and Ron Simmons. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Paul Clark, Charlie Joe, Gary Dollinger, Ronnie Brown, Steve Peters, and Doug Guynes.
The family request that memorials be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the College Street Church of Christ Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
