Terri Smith passed away at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Bobby and Georgie Mason Vencill. She lived in Waxahachie, Texas for the past 15 years and worked as a pastry chef for HEB in Waxahachie for the last 15 months. She loved her grandchildren and son and was an avid reader and at one time worked at a school for the mentally challenged.

Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, Georgie Everett of Dallas; her grandfather Morris (Speck) Johnson of Dallas; son, Tommy Vencill and his wife, Amber of Waxahachie; Fiance, Richard Crowe, of Ferris; brother, Bobby Vencill of Dallas; sisters, Rebecca Wooten of Lancaster and Sherri Vencill of Waxahachie; three grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan and Dylan Vencill of Waxahachie.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM , at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 16, 2004 in the Pat Boze Chapel with Reverend James Wilson officiating. Pallbearers will be Bobby Vencill Jr., Mark Connell, Jr., Mark Connell, Sr., John Wooten III, Larry Grabbitt, and Manuel Pargas. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery.
