Heaven received an amazing woman of God this week. Teresa Kay went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday May 11, 2024.

Teresa was born in Waxahachie, Texas to parents Lois and Charles “Sonny” Thompson on August 26, 1951. She was a 1969 graduate of Waxahachie High School. Teresa devoted her life to God and her family. She served in multiple roles of ministry that included singing in the choir, stepping in as financial officer and leading bible studies. She enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking and being a grandmother. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Texas Longhorns.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Lois (Boyd) and Charles “Sonny” Thompson; Bonus Dad Donald Boyd, and grandparents Winnie and Tommie Kelso.

Teresa is survived by her son Jason Wayne Wooldridge and wife Tina of Waxahachie, TX, Daughter Sunni Brooke Walton of Plano, TX and her father Phillip Walton Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Brothers: Philip Thompson and wife Cathy of Midlothian, TX, Mike Boyd and wife Mary of Waxahachie, TX. Six grandchildren: Kathlene, Ann, David, Donovan, Brittany and Samantha.  Seven great-grandchildren: Ryleigh, Paisley, Jazmine, Brantley, Koe, Laeni and Waylon. Bonus kids: David Long and Andrea Morel. Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
