Ted Arenas Manriquez, 69 of Lancaster, Texas passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. He was born July 13, 1944 in Gatesville, Texas to Gertrude O. (Ted Sr.) and Victoria Arenas Manriquez. He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass for many years as a packing attendant. Ted enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques, watching sports especially boxing and football. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him and loved him. Ted is survived by his wife Rhonda Manriquez of Lancaster, Texas; 4 Sons: Mario (Limon) Manriquez and John David Manriquez both of Lubbock, Texas; Rolandas Pruitt and Aloyious Pruitt both of Lancaster, Texas; 1 Step Daughter: Romnie Henderson of Lancaster, Texas; 7 sisters: Mary Jane Priller, Helen Alvarado, Virginia Manriquez and Christina Manriquez all of Salem, Oregon; Dolores Rascon of American Canyon, CA, Beatrice Villarreal and Olga Flores both of Lubbock, Texas; 3 Brothers: Johnny Manriquez of Lubbock, Texas, Oscar Manriquez and Mike Manriquez both of Salem, Oregon, James Wilson Manriquez of Midland, Texas; Also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister: Dominga Manriquez Picon of Lubbock, 2 Brothers: Richard Lozano of Lubbock and Gilbert Manriquez of Caldwell, Idaho. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, December 02, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas. Cremation will follow the visitation.
