Tammy Edwards

Tammy Jeanne Edwards, 40 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at her residence. She was born on February 11, 1971 in Irving, Texas. Tammy graduated from South Grand Prairie High School in 1989. She attended Tarrant County Community College and Navarro College of Waxahachie. Tammy worked for the City of Waxahachie Police Department and at Jackson Hewitt during tax season. She was an active blogger and loved Facebook where she was a member of many active groups where she helped so many in need. Tammy was President of the Waxahachie Resident Council. She was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church, Midlothian. She loved people and everyone who knew her, loved her. Tammy had such compassion for others and would do anything to help her friends and others. She will continually be missed by so many. She is survived by her husband, Robert Edwards; her children, Samantha Blaire Fountain, Nitro Elan Edwards and Madalynn Jeanne Edwards; her parents, Dale and Sherie Stevenson; her brother, Dale Stevenson, Jr and his wife, Sandy; her sister, Nichole White and her husband Mike; her sister in law, Theresa Troutwine and her husband, Rick; her brother in law, George Lee Edwards, Jr.; her father and mother in law, George Lee Edwards, Sr. and Bobbie Edwards; her nieces, Joyce and Erica Coates; her nephews, Geoffrey, Blake, Tyler and Conner Stevenson and Ziggy Troutwine; her uncle, Mike Williams and his wife, Sue; her aunts, Cynthia Burnett and her husband, Ira lee and Barbara Siegle and her husband, Wayne. Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Stevenson; her grandparents, Juandine and Willie Conner Williams and Donald and Wilma Stevenson. Services to celebrate Tammy's life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery, Ft. Worth. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie If desired, memorials may be made to the Waxahachie Police Department. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
