Mr. T. Edward Nobles, 77 of Red Oak passed away Thursday September 24, 2009 at Dallas VA Medical Center. He was born October 27, 1931 to Theondralus Leviticus and Sarah Ida Nobles in Godley, TX.
He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War as a Personnelman Class "A" from Nov. 1949 to Feb. 1950 earning 5 star medals. He was honorably discharged Nov . 26, 1952. On August 14, 1951 T. Edward married Jada Marie Jones.
T. Edward was a member of First United Methodist Church, Red Oak and served on the Red Oak ISD School Board for several years. E. L. Farmer Trucking Company was his employer in the Oil and Gas Industry for over 30 years.
Survivors are his Sons: Leslie Edward Nobles of Denton., Donald Wayne Nobles of Prosper., Richard Mack Nobles of Waxahachie, TX., Ronald Lynn Nobles of Glenn Heights. Grandchildren: Bexie Nobles, Julie Holland and husband Jason, Michelle L'Hullier and husband Eric, Russell Nobles, Sara Nobles, Andy Nobles, and Valerie Nobles, Great Grandchild: Madie Holland, and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his Brother, Hoyt Nobles, and his Sister, Gertrude Prater.
A visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 PM. at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie. A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, September 28, 2009, at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, Red Oak. Rev. Doug Blackford officiating. Pallbearers are: Leslie Nobles, Donald Nobles, Richard Nobles, Ronald Nobles, Russell Nobles, and Andy Nobles. Honorary Pallbearers are: Eric L'Huillier, and Jason Holland. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
