Sylvia Mae Davenport, 62, of Garfield died on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at her home in Garfield. She was born on August 25, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to the late Virgil Wesley Boyer and Dorothy Ozell Gibbons Boyer. Mrs. Davenport was employed by the Clorox Company and enjoyed her work. She was a strong woman who loved the lake, playing poker and spending time with her family. She was a an avid fisherman who loved teaching children to fish and was involved in the Bass N Gal tournaments.

Her survivors include: her husband of 27 years, Robert Davenport of the home; two sons, Damon Davenport and his wife Misti of McKinney, TX., and Randall Davenport and his wife Natalee of Plano, TX.; one daughter, Debra Morales and husband Alex of Spring, TX.; one sister, Patricia Dé�'Iorio of Dallas, TX.; and seven grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2007 from 2 PM until 4 PM at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, AR. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Monday, July 16, 2007 at Whitney Mountain Chapel in Garfield.

The family will receive friends and relatives 5-7 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, Texas with private graveside services and interment.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton RD, NE Atlanta, GA. 30329.
