Mrs. Myrick passed away Friday morning at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas. Mrs. Myrick was born in Waxahachie to Victor and Eula (Smithwick) Ziegler. She graduated from WH Adamson High School in Dallas in 1947. Syble had been an Executive Secretary/Loan Officer in the Banking Industry before she retired and became a homemaker. She married Don Myrick, May 13, 1975 in Arlington, Texas and she was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years Don Myrick of Midlothian, her son Michael Young and his life partner Michael Postal of Portland, Oregon, her daughter Suzi Fisher and her husband Douglas, her grandson Joshua Fisher all of Hutchinson, Kansas. Also surviving are: one sister Alma Bradshaw of Richardson, Texas and one brother Dave Ziegler and his wife Darlene of Decatur, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Victor Ziegler.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 to 8 PM Monday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel at Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Metting officiating. Interment will follow at the DFW National Cemetery.
