Was a loving wife, mother, and nanama, she passed away to be with the Lord on Monday, April 22, 2024 at the age of 73 quietly at her home in Venus. Born July 4, 1950, in Villa Rica Georgia and at age 18 moved to Texas with her parents.  On March 30, 19, 1974, Gail married the love of her life Johnny Rousseau. Together they raised six children combined between the two of them.  She loved crocheting blankets and scarves, fishing, RV camping, shopping, watching soap operas, and spending time with her family.  Her favorite holiday was of course the 4th of July when she celebrated her birthday with fireworks and family. Gail and Johnny celebrated their 50th anniversary on March 30th with a family party and was looking forward to being the flower girl at her grandson’s upcoming wedding. Preceded in death: Son Brian Rousseau, Parents Nellie & Malcolm Hendricks, brothers Danny and Jerry Haggard, William Hendricks and great grandson Travis Terrell. Survived by: Husband of 50 years Johnny Rousseau Sr, Daughters Terry Batson and husband Randy, Lisa Rousseau and husband Eric, Denissa Marta and husband Cary, Collette Shimanek and husband Greg, son Johnny Rousseau Jr., Sisters Brenda Bullock and Penny Hunter. Grandchildren: Collin, Erin, Devon, Kaelynn, Olivia, Justin, Kirkland, Jordan, Emily, Ashlee, Callie, Brandon, Blake, Brent and 6 great grandchildren.  And her beloved dog Scooter.
