Suzzanne Beaver Kirby, 71 of Red Oak, Texas passed away February 13, 2018 in Waxahachie, Texas. Suzzanne Beaver was born on June 30, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to Ola V. Pharriss and Byrl Beaver. She graduated from Corsicana High School in 1964, She has an Associate in Arts degree from Navarro College and a BBA from the University of Texas at Arlington. Suzzanne worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and later A.T & T for over 28 years. She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Red Oak. She was a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a Past Matron of Nash Chapter # 320, Past Matron of Midlothian Chapter # 234, and a member of Lancaster Chapter # 943. She was a state officer for over 30 years. She was Deputy Grand Matron and later was the Grand Representative to Arizona. She was a past President of the Social Order of the Beauceant and was a member of Dallas Assembly No. 63. She was a member of Yellow Rose Chapter No. 4 of the Order for the Amaranth. She was a lifelong supporter of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. She served on the Rainbow board and was Mother Advisor for many years for Duncanville Assembly # 339, and received the Grand Cross of Color. She was the First Lady of Texas Masonry in 2017. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She has received her reward and heard the words, "Well done, thy good and faithful servant."
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Nelson Kirby, Daughter Kimberlee Dawn Kirby Markle and son-in - law Jeffrey Markle, and son Larry Patrick Kirby, grandchildren Megan Markle, Miranda Markle, August Markle, Joseph Lindsey. Lance Massoletti, and Jacob Kirby, sister Rose Marie McDonald, brother-in-law Larry Kirby and wife Vicki Kirby of Lake Jackson, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Red Oak with Dr. Christie Robbins officiating. Interment will follow at Hughes Cemetery in Avalon, Texas. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following: Alzheimer's Association, First United Methodist Church of Red Oak, The Grand Assembly of Texas, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
