Susie L. Christopher, 57, of Waxahachie, passed away Monday, October 22, 2007 in a Dallas hospital. She was born to the late Jeff & Rosie Shipman Harvick on January 23, 1950 in San Angelo, Texas.

Susie loved her family and was the happiest when she was surrounded by her family and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. They called her "Nana" and she always enjoyed spending time with them. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Susie would do anything for anybody, always showing others through her actions how much she loved them and cared for them. She will be greatly missed by so many who will always love her.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Christopher of Waxahachie; daughter(s), Renee Follis and her husband, Brad of Keller, Texas, Charlotte Christopher of Waxahachie, Texas, Alicia Ponivas and her husband, Walter of Midlothian, Texas; brother(s): George Harvick of San Bernadino, CA; Sister(s): Daffau Lou Thompson of Granbury, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Brittany Christopher, Gunnar & Kenlee Ponivas, Raygan Follis.

A celebration of Susie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie with Rev. Phillip Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
