Suellen Lewis

Suellen W. Lewis, 72 of Forreston, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Archie and Rhoda Parton Wise on March 17, 1941 in Waxahachie. Suellen was an accomplished seamstress; loved going to garage sales and shopping at thrift stores. One of her greatest attributes was the love and support she showed to her family and the enjoyment of laughing. Suellen's smile, laugh and her loving support will be missed by so many who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Lewis of Forreston; her children, Debra Watkins of Waxahachie, Charles Calhoun of Waxahachie, Rhonda Pearman of Lakeworth and Faye Murry and her husband, Eric of Wichita, KS; her grandchildren, Brandy Hanzelka and her husband, Master Sergeant Christopher Hanzelka of Jacksonville, NC, Ashley Watkins of Waxahachie, Justin Watkins of Forreston and Shelby Pearman of Nacogdoches; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; she is also survived by her brother in law, Billy W. Lewis, MD of Bedford, Texas. Suellen was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Rhoda Wise; and also her step mother, Jewell Wise. Services to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Forreston Baptist Church with Rev. Lynn Fontenot officiating. Interment will follow at the Forreston Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
