Stephanie Scesney

March 25, 1978 — June 22, 2018

Stephanie Elizabeth Scesney, 40, passed away in her home in Midlothian, Texas on June 22, 2018. Stephanie was born to Steven and Linda Smith in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She attended Farmerville High School where she played softball, cheered, and enjoyed small town life. She went on to graduate from Louisiana Tech University in February of 2000 with a degree in Psychology and played Division 1 Softball. She applied these skills to a successful career in Human Resources, her hobby of real estate, and her passion for coaching softball. She was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, friend, role model, and especially a fighter who did not know the meaning of the word "quit."

She was preceded in death by her father Steven Smith and is survived by her husband Daniel, daughter Avery, son William, mother Linda, as well as a large extended family.

The family visitation will be on Thursday, July 5, 2018 between 5:30pm to 7:30pm at The Church on Rush Creek - Mira Lagos Campus, located at 1355 East Seeton Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75054. The memorial service will be the following day on Friday, July 6, 2018, at 10am at the same location.
