Stella Howard

Stella F. Howard, 86, passed away on June 26, 2022 in Corsicana, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 10-11 am and funeral services from 11-12 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. Burial will follow at 1 pm at the Milford Cemetery located in Milford.

Stella was born on February 18, 1936 to Thelmer and Margaret Frank. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and baking for them during these gatherings. She retired from the City of Waxahachie in 1998 after 20 plus years of service. Despite her recent health issues she remained living independently until the end.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Paul Howard; son, Ted Petty; and siblings Margie Jones, Bea Stevens, and Tonette Weaver.

Stella is survived by her son, Jay Petty and his wife Pam; grandchildren, Shane Petty and his wife, Jaycee, Sheldon Petty, Clayton Petty; and one great granddaughter, Chloe Mae Petty; sisters, Jenny Rountree and Catherine Christopherson; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.
