Stanislas Porowski

Stanley Porowski, 87 of Midlothian, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016. He was born October 30, 1928 in France.


Stanley came to the United States in 1958 and became a US citizen. He worked in the tool and die business and was very skilled with making things. He worked in Aluminum Die Casting. He was also a draftsmen and worked in engineered concrete structures as well as Diesel Engine Manufacturing before coming to the US. Stanley enjoyed Cooking, Wine, Woodworking, Designing Houses, riding his lawn tractor around the yard, and gardening. He enjoyed watching sports. The Olympics were his favorite. Ice skating, Down Hill Skiing, swimming, and gymnastics were some of his favorite sports.


He is survived by his sons, Patrick and his wife, Julia Porowski of Waxahachie, TX and Dominique Porowski, Denton, TX.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Julien and Anna; sisters, Helene and Wanda, and brother, Jean.


A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
