Sophie Myrtle Lesly

Beloved Mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend entered eternal life on October 2, 2007 after a short, brave, and courageous fight with cancer. She was preceded in death by husband , Claud Lesly, her parents, James and Josephine Cobb, her brother Gilbert and her sister Jean. . She is survived by her sisters, Teddy and Linda, five children, James Brown (Janice), Larry Brown (Judy), Nancy Howell (Alan), Claud Lesy (Terri), and Troy Lesly, all of Red Oak, She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, Michael (Beth), Shanda (David), Stephanie, Erica, Chad (Sheli), Clint, Jessica, David (Cristy), Justin, Tayrnn (Dale), Bruce and Christopher, and many great grandchildren, Shelby, Cody, Chelsea, Trevor, Tater, Hunter, Lexie, Jacob, Amber, Trent and Josh.

Visitation will be held at the Red Oak Funeral Home Thursday, October 4, 2007 from 6 to 8 PM. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, October 5, 2007 at 10 AM at Red Oak Cemetery.
