Skipper Allen

Skipper Lee Allen, 61 of Red Oak, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 in Waxahachie. He was born on May 18, 1955 in Atlanta, GA.

Skipper loved his children, grandchildren, fishing, hunting reading; the Dallas Cowboys and Arkansas. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

He is survived by his father, Jerry Allen; his mother, Geraldine Gaddis; his daughters, Melissa Allen, Jessica Jeffrey and Lezlie Allen; his brothers, Lamar Allen, Wade Allen and Jerry Allen, Jr; his son-in-law, Shane Jeffrey; also by his grandchildren, Jude Jeffrey and Eleanor Jeffrey.

He was preceded in death by his step mother, Sharon Allen; and also by his brothers, Gene Allen and Darrell McLaughlin.

A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
